Monique was born and raised in Darwin. Monique recently embarked on a year-long journey along the east coast, which she found to be the most enjoyable experience!
Monique has previously worked in education and has always had a passion for working with children and helping them succeed. Their motivation stems from having a brother with Asperger’s syndrome, who faced limitations and bullying due to being perceived as different. Monique aspires to support individuals like her brother and promote the idea of equality and celebrating everyone’s unique qualities.
Outside of work, Monique enjoys spending time with her family and their beautiful Great Dane. Monique also has a fondness for camping and engaging in adventurous outdoor activities. Cooking is another passion, particularly when it involves preparing meals for others and witnessing the satisfaction of people enjoying a hearty meal.
