Silken was born and raised in Darwin, but proudly identifies as an Illdugij woman from Croker Island. Her ancestral home is located across on the mainland on her grandfather’s outstation, Annesley Point. Outside of Silken’s professional responsibilities within Eunoia Lane, Silken willingly supports her mother and contributes to the well-being of her beautiful nephews and nieces.
In her leisure time, she finds great joy in fishing and cherishing moments spent with her family back home on country. Additionally, Silken has a genuine passion for reading and will eagerly seize any spare moment to immerse herself in books. Silken possesses a profoundly soothing and empathetic nature and demonstrates unwavering commitment to advocating for her clients both in Darwin and in the remote community space.
