NDIS support in Aurukun
Eunoia Lane provides person-centred NDIS support in Aurukun, working with people with disability, families and carers to plan support around individual goals, culture and everyday life. Aurukun is a remote community on the west coast of Cape York Peninsula, around 800 kilometres north-west of Cairns and about two hours by road from Weipa.

Aurukun is on the traditional lands of the Wik, Wik Way and Kugu peoples, and Wik Mungkan and English are among the languages used in the community. We take time to understand each participant’s communication preferences, family connections and cultural considerations when discussing how support may be delivered.
Roads and water crossings can become impassable or unsafe during the wet season.
