NDIS support on Palm Island
Eunoia Lane provides person-centred NDIS support on Palm Island, working with people with disability, families and carers to plan support around individual goals, culture and everyday life. Palm Island, also known as Bwgcolman, is an Aboriginal community about 65 kilometres north-east of Townsville in the Palm Island group.
Support that acknowledges community and family connections
The Manbarra people are the Traditional Owners of the area. Bwgcolman means “many people” and reflects the community’s history and the connections of many Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander families. We take time to understand each participant’s preferred way of communicating, the people important to them and the supports that suit their everyday life.
