NDIS support in Pormpuraaw

Eunoia Lane provides person-centred NDIS support for people in Pormpuraaw and across western Cape York. Located on Cape York’s west coast, south of the Edward River, Pormpuraaw is home to Thaayore, Mungkun, Wik, Bakanhand and Yir Yoront peoples. Kuuk Thaayorre is the predominant language spoken in the community, alongside Kugu or Wik languages and English, so we take time to understand each participant’s preferred way of communicating and the people important to them.

Support planned around community and season

Road and water-crossing conditions can change quickly during the wet season, so travel and service timing need to be discussed early and confirmed before supports begin. Eunoia Lane works with participants, families and local connections to plan support respectfully, around community commitments, communication needs and each person’s goals.

Our team can help with everyday NDIS support, support coordination and making the most of an NDIS plan. Whether your goal is greater independence, stronger community participation or clearer coordination of supports, Eunoia Lane can work with you to identify the approach that feels right for you in Pormpuraaw.
