NDIS support in Weipa
Eunoia Lane provides person-centred NDIS support in Weipa, working with people with disability, families and carers to plan support around individual goals, culture and everyday life. Weipa is a coastal community on Albatross Bay on the west coast of Cape York Peninsula, around 800 kilometres north-west of Cairns by road.
Support planned with Western Cape context in mind
Weipa is on the lands and waters of the Alngith people, alongside other Traditional Owner groups from the Western Cape region. English and Creole are spoken, as are languages connected to Traditional Owner groups in the local area. We take time to understand each participant’s communication preferences, family connections and cultural considerations before discussing support options.
Roads and water crossings in Cape York can be affected during the wet season, so travel, timing and the practical details of support are discussed and confirmed in advance. If you would like help to understand your NDIS plan, coordinate supports or work towards everyday goals, our team can talk through options that suit you.
